Getting From Here to There (Environmental Management Programs)
Environmental management programs (EMPs) are the vehicle to achieve your environmental objectives and targets. There are three main components to an EMP:
- Responsibility
- Who’s responsible? Where appropriate, personnel should be designated at each relevant function and level
- Resources
- What’s needed? Human, technological, and/or financial allocations
- Timeframe
- When will the target be achieved? Are there milestones to your progress?
- When will the target be achieved? Are there milestones to your progress?
