 Regional Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Collaborations
Regional EMS collaborations take the EMS framework one step further by moving it from individual facility fencelines and applying it to an entire region. Partnerships, such as the V-REMS Initiative in Virginia and the Bartow County Initiative in Georgia, engage the environmental stewardship efforts of a community of public and private organizations to improve communication between them, allow for environmental management Best Practices sharing, and facilitate the targeting of measurable regional environmental priorities.
